For years, the Food Guide was regarded as the ultimate guide in healthy eating. In recent years, however, the eating plan has come under attack. Over time, alarmists have systematically turned their attention to fats, meats, dairy, bread, and more. Every component in the food guide has been vilified as a potential health threat.
